RFID BASED WOMEN SAFETY SYTEM WITH AUTOMATIC STREET LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM

RFID BASED WOMEN SAFETY SYTEM WITH AUTOMATIC STREET LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM

OBJECTVE

·        The objective of the RFID-based women's safety system with automatic street light control project is to create a technology solution that enhances the safety of women by using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology to detect their presence in certain areas.

·        When a woman carrying an RFID tag enters a predefined area, the system triggers automatic street light control, illuminating the surroundings for improved visibility and safety. This integrated system aims to provide a safer environment for women, especially during night time or in dimly lit areas.

APPARATUS REQUIRED

·        Transformer

·        Power supply

·        Vibration sensor

·        Arduino UNO

·        LDR Sensor

·        GSM module

·        RFI module

·        LCD display

·        LED

·        Arduino

·        Buzzer

WORKING PROCESS

·        The system uses RFID tags that are given to individuals especially women for identification and safety purposes

·        When the person entre the predefined area such as a street or a public space the RFID reader installed in that area detects the tags presence

·        The central identifies the user associated with the detected RFID tag

·        If the identified user is in distress of feels unsafe they can trigger safety alert using a  panic  button . this alert is sent to the central system.

·        The street lights in the vicinity of the identified user’s locations automatically activated.

·        In addition to controlling street lights the central  system can also send emergency notification

·        Once the user confirms that they are safe the system can deactivated.

ADVANTAGES

·        Enhanced safety

·        Immediate response

·        Reduced energy consumption

·        Cost saving

·        Crime deterrence

·        User friendly
