SMART  SYSTEM FOR NOISE AND POLLUTION MONITORING  SYSTEM

Objective

To develop a real time noise and air pollution monitoring system which is capable of monitoring the air pollution and noise level.

    The user can access this information through an android application this monitoring system will assist the authorities as well as the public to view the information regarding pollution

Apparatus Required

·        MQ135

·        Sound Sensor

·        LCD display

·        Microcontroller (MSP430)

·        Buzzer

·        LED

Working Process

Hardware Part

·       The MQ135 sensor suitable for detecting of NH3, NOx, Alcohol, Benzene, Smoke,CO2 etc.

·       KY-037 sound sensor emits a signal if the sensor detects a noise. The sensitivity of the sensors can be adjusted by means of a controller

·       LCD display 16×2 alphanumeric display with 12c is used

·       Data is continuously displayed the LCD if the pollution exceeds a set limit

·       MSP430 integrated with ultra low power and digital and analog peripheral devices for sensing measurement application

·       Buzzer confirmation of user input such as a mouse click. Or keystroke

    Software

·       IOT based real time air and noise pollution monitoring system

·       We have programmed the microcontroller board in C language using Arduino IDE

 

Results

·       The developed air and noise pollution monitoring system is capable of monitoring the air quality level of noise pollution using gas and sound sensors on real time basis.
