OBJECTIVE

·      The objective of a gas leakage detection system is to monitor and detect the presence of potentially harmful or flammable gases in an environment, alerting occupants or relevant personnel to take prompt actions to prevent accidents or health hazards.

·      These systems use sensors to detect gas levels, and upon detection, they trigger alarms, notifications, or automatic shut-off mechanisms to ensure safety.

WORKING PROCESS

·      A gas leakage detection system typically works by using gas sensors to monitor the surrounding air for the presence of certain gases.

·      These sensors detect changes in gas concentration and send signals to a control unit. If gas levels exceed a predefined threshold, the control unit triggers an alarm, which could be a sound, visual indication, or even a notification to a connected device.

·      This helps alert individuals to the potential gas leak, allowing them to take appropriate action, such as shutting off the gas supply and ventilating the area.

·       The project involves setting up sensors, connecting them to a microcontroller or a dedicated gas detection unit, and programming the system to respond.
